Ideas

  • Taking a roll of film for one building 6 shots, starting from the top, go downwards, the proof sheet makes up the picture
  • Taking pictures from top of buildings, top of other buildings, maybe iconic ones
  • Taking photo of a texture, develop it and then take a new photo with the previous photo attached to the texture
  • Undefined spaces - what is it
  • Take pictures of all the the buildings i like, collage it back together
  • Facades
  • Long exposures
  • Double exposure of building elements i like, (or two good things about the same building)
  • Take picture of just one aspect of the building-can you recognize it out from just that one shot?

Potential Portfolio themes

Since I'm studying architecture this is a natural starting point. If i wanna precede architecture for my final portfolio work I'm not sure of yet, but this is where I'll start.

What is architecture and what defines architecture? How we look at architecture, space and time is different  for every individual, but in the end the building remain the same.

  • Merging spaces
  • Undefined Spaces
  • 'grey' areas
  • Architecture and nature
  • Contemporary architecture vs  historic architecture
  • The ugly, bad and the good
  • Small-Large-X large
  • Form follows function or Function follows Form?
  • Iconic architecture
  • Architecture can define a city
  • Architecture and human scale
  • How do we interact with architecture in our everyday life?

The list can go on and on, but think I'll start with a quick research about the questions raised above:)
